Radiated Sky

This assignment was appropriate was this morning I had an appointment with a retina specialist I see every 6 months. Thus I walked out of the doctor's office, eyes fully dilated, blinded by the Arizona mid morning sun. I thought a strongly lit fall colored tree (Sycamore?) would make a good try for today's shot. It was only okay, but playing with the Black and white setting in Aperture made for some surrealistic imagery- I have the blues cranked low to blast out the sky, and green and read turned up way high.

It has an almost painterly feel.
