- Caption: For a while I have noticed this roadside memorial on highway 87 between Payson and Pine, a rather windy two lane highway with no guardrail despite how it skirts a steep drop into a canyon.
This one obviously for someone who loved horses, a cross adorned with horseshoes, a lariat hanging, and an antler horn below.
There is another one just on the other side of the road, which I have traced in stories from the Payson Roundup, but I am not sure if this is for a different person.
